CorVel SMS Texting Policy

CorVel Corporation and its associated companies and subsidiaries offer automated text messaging (SMS) alerts (the “Text Messaging Program”) to claimants as part of its claims adjusting services. CorVel also provides direct conversational messaging between claimants and their adjusters. djuster. The following terms and conditions apply to both of CorVel’s SMS text messaging services.
ELIGIBILITY
You must be 18 years or older to receive text messages, and you must also be a U.S. resident.
CONTENT
SMS messages sent by CorVel to you will be used for, among other things, transmitting information regarding your individual claim, claim management, account management, customer service, important notifications, and coordinating care. The messages will not contain marketing, advertising, or promotional content. Moreover, your SMS contact information will not be shared or sold to third parties for marketing purposes.
CONSENT
By providing your mobile telephone number(s) to CorVel and/or its associated companies and subsidiaries, and/or any third-party agency acting on their behalf (collectively, “CorVel”), you opt-in and agree that CorVel may communicate with you at such number(s) for sending you transactional SMS text messages, including through messages generated by an automatic telephone dialing system even if the mobile telephone number(s) is listed on any federal or state do-not-call list. By providing your mobile telephone number(s), you represent and warrant that you are the subscriber for the telephone number(s) provided and you possess the phone(s) associated with such numbers.
By providing your number to CorVel and agreeing to accept text messages, you accept and agree to be bound by CorVel’s Privacy Policy, and you consent to the processing of your personal information as set forth in those policies.
FREQUENCY
Frequency of text messages may vary per user and depending on subject matter.
DATA RATES AND CHARGES
CorVel does not charge you for sending or receiving SMS text messages, but standard carrier message and data rates may apply. Please check your mobile service carrier’s pricing plan to determine the charges associated with sending and receiving text messages.
OPT-OUT
You may opt out of the Text Messaging Program at any time by texting “STOP” to (844) 763-3412. You may also reply “STOP” to any message sent via the Text Messaging Program to opt-out. If you do so, you will receive a confirmation message from your cellular carrier and no further automated text messages will be sent to you from CorVel, unless you re-subscribe to the Text Messaging Program. To re-subscribe to the Text Messaging Program, text “START” to (844) 763-3412.
Please note that by opting out of the automated Text Messaging Program, you will only be unsubscribed from the Text Messaging Program for which you texted “STOP” and may continue to receive direct conversational and transactional messages directly from your adjuster unless you specifically ask your adjuster to stop. If you no longer wish to communicate with your adjuster via SMS message, please inform your adjuster.

CARRIERS
Our text messaging services may not be available on all wireless carriers. Mobile access and text message delivery is subject to your mobile carrier’s network availability. Such access and delivery is not guaranteed. Neither mobile carriers nor CorVel are liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
