SB 1037 – Worker’s Compensation – Amends Existing Law to Remove a Requirement That Adjusting Offices or Officers Be Located Within the State and That Adjusters Be Residents of the State.

This measure removes a requirement that adjusting officers reside in-state. It takes effect July 1, 2023.

02/06/2023 – This measure has been scheduled for a hearing on February 7 in the Commerce & Human Resources Committee, chaired by Senator Kevin Cook (R) Committee meetings are open to the public. Anyone wishing to testify may do so by registering on the website. A vote may occur at the discretion of the Chair. Idaho usually schedules hearings with fewer than 24 hours’ notice or late in the evening local time.
